Hi, I'm April.
I'm 25 and I have Down syndrome. After trying for a long time to get hired, I decided to make something of my own. I put every dollar I had saved into wood, LEDs, and tools — and started carving wands based on my favorite series, Harry Potter.
Every wand on this site is made by me, at my own little table, with a whole lot of patience and a whole lot of love.

Each wand starts on April's wooden workbench — Dremel spinning, chisels and hand planes close by. She carves the grip, fits a slim LED chain inside the acrylic tip, seals it, and wraps it in soft linen ready to ship.
